Businesses can help in a number of ways. This could include a financial donation for a funding category or sponsorship of a talented young person who is progressing well in a chosen sport or other activity. Successful applicants tend to receive funding in the range of £250 to £500 and this will often cover a year of support. We do hold fundraising events staff could participate in such as the Manchester 10K, 24 hour five a side football tournament.

All applicants supply referees for corroboration as part of our due diligence process and we encourage applicants to set a goal to achieve in return for funding their request. We share the progress of successful applicants with email updates or progress reports during their funding period. A member of staff could also join the sub group that reviews applications and be part of the decision making process whenever time permits. So, involvement can be as little or as much as you would like - though we would really welcome more than less!

Thank you to the companies and individuals that continue to support us

Property Tectonics

“Property Tectonics is a proud sponsor of The Salford Foundation Trust which provides financial help for young people to develop their talents; creating opportunities and success which may otherwise be lost to us all. Part of our credo as a business is to be ‘good citizens’ particularly in the community that we live and work. Property Tectonics has been based in Salford for over 30 years and we feel its important to give back to that community. Salford is one of the most deprived cities in the UK affecting mainly children and young adults. The work that the Trust do in providing opportunities for young people is incredible and we are so proud to play a small part in their work.”

Simon Fenton Partnership

“As a proud Salfordian, I have always been committed to making a difference to young peoples lives in Salford. SFP have supported the work of the Trust since its formation in 2004 and have witnessed how children’s lives can be transformed by a relatively small financial contribution. Our great city has many talented individuals and poverty should not be a barrier to success. If you are fortunate to have the time and resources to help others, I would urge Salford based businesses to contact the Trust and help make a difference.”
