Supporting young people in Salford since 2004
Welcome to the new website of The Salford Foundation Trust designed to be more informative and easier to use for applicants and the interested observer. There are other things new about the Trust with a new staff member and a new home at Lowry Mill in Pendlebury – courtesy of Property Tectonics who have agreed to share their facilities with the Trust. Whilst all this is new, the one thing that is not is our continued commitment to supporting the aspirations of children and young people and their families where family financial circumstances have made access to such opportunities unaffordable.
Over the last seventeen years the Trust has supported applications from young people for a wide range of activities whether it be arts based such as music tuition or participation in theatre groups or sporting activities with support for football club membership, swimming fees or access to a range of other sports.
Others have requested equipment to support their hobbies or interests from balloon making to food making and even help to purchase equipment for work. The Trust has also supported talented young people over a number of years who have been competing at regional and national level in their chosen discipline including training resources, short training camps and extra coaching to improve performance.
